Flower Art

The children have been learning about plants and were excited today to make some flower art.

Today we read the story "Jack and the Beanstalk".  We then planted some bean seeds in our pots. We hope they'll be magic seeds!

Our class is learning about metamorphosis.  We have learned about the life cycles of frogs and honeybees we are now learning about butterflies.  We have some very hungry caterpillars in our classroom right now!  I wonder what will happen when they get bigger?

We have been learning about the lifecycle of frogs.  The children have been so excited to learn about them. We have sung songs about metamorphosis (the process of how a tadpole becomes a frog) and we have read lots of books.  We were very excited when one of our students, Sophia, brought in some live tadpoles for us to see.  We love watching them grow!

Art week

For our schools "Art Week" this year we focused on the theme of Earth Day.  We read books about how important the earth is and what we can do to take good care of it.  One of the books we read was:
