Our caterpillars have changed into chrysalises!!

Last week our class had some new visitors - some baby caterpillars.  Our caterpillars quickly grew over the last week and this Monday they changed into chrysalises!  We are so excited about watching them grow and change.  Mrs. Manuel is now going to remove the chrysalises and hang them up in our aquarium so that we can watch them change into butterflies.  I wonder when that will happen??

Honeybees!

We spent the first two weeks of May learning about honeybees.  Here is our hallway art display of our buzzing honeybees.  We sure had fun visiting the Honeybee Centre too!

Our bean seeds

The students are so excited about their bean seeds.  Every day our V.I.P. carefully waters each pot.  Our pots are by the window so that they get plenty of sunlight.  We even "planted" some bean seeds in a clear plastic cup with some wet paper towels so that we could see our bean seeds sprouting.  We're looking forward to seeing how they grow!!
